Limpopo MEC for Health, Dieketseng Mashego, recently handed over wheelchairs to patients at Matlala Hospital in Tsimanyane village, as part of a larger initiative to distribute 592 newly procured wheelchairs across the province.

During the handover ceremony, MEC Mashego emphasized the importance of proper wheelchair maintenance. "We urge our patients to look after the wheelchairs and report to the hospital when they experience breakdowns, damage, or service issues," she said. Distribution Highlights:

- Capricorn District: 125 wheelchairs

- Waterberg District: 99 wheelchairs

- Sekhukhune District: 102 wheelchairs

- Mopani District: 102 wheelchairs

- Vhembe District: 164 wheelchairs


By providing these essential mobility aids, the department is taking a significant step towards ensuring that patients with mobility challenges can live more independently and comfortably. This initiative is a testament to the department's dedication to improving healthcare services and promoting inclusivity.
