The ANC in Limpopo is in full election mode and moving as one united force.
Addressing the Provincial Meeting on the localisation of the ANC 2026 Local Government Elections Manifesto, Provincial Secretary Vhamusanda Reuben Madadzhe declared that Limpopo is ready, with less than three months to go before the 4 November Local Government Elections.
Madadzhe said the message of the movement must reach every corner of the province.
"The ANC's elections message must reach every town, every village, every ward, every street, every household and every voter."
The meeting, held in Polokwane, was a decisive moment to translate the national #PeoplesManifesto, which will be launched on Sunday, 23 August 2026, into concrete action for Limpopo communities — water, roads, electricity, jobs and dignified local government.
Madadzhe was speaking on behalf of a newly elected, united Top 5 that emerged from the ANC Limpopo Provincial Conference in March, which saw the Unity Slate triumph against all odds.
The conference, which took place from Friday, March 27, 2026, elected Dr Phophi Ramathuba as Provincial Chairperson, John Mpe as Deputy Provincial Chairperson, Ruben Madadzhe as Provincial Secretary, Pule Shayi as Deputy Provincial Secretary, and Eddie Maila as Provincial Treasurer.
That leadership, orchestrated around unity and endorsed after the Polokwane High Court dismissed frivolous interdicts by rival factions calling themselves the "Alliance of the Wounded", is now driving the 2026 local elections campaign.
Madadzhe emphasised that localisation is not a slogan, but a commitment to ensure the realities of Musina, Malamulele, Waterberg, Sekhukhune, Mopani, Vhembe and Capricorn shape delivery.
Under the Unity Leadership of Chairperson Dr Phophi Ramathuba, Limpopo has once again proven it is the heartbeat of the ANC's election machinery — disciplined, united, and people-centred.
The road to 4 November begins now, and Limpopo will lead from the front.
