In a heartwarming display of leadership and dedication, Limpopo's Health MEC, Dieketseng Mashego, led the Back to School Campaign at Ntota Secondary School in Dennilton, Sekhukhune District, on Friday, January 16, 2026.

The event aimed to motivate learners and educators as the academic year kicks off, emphasizing the importance of discipline, commitment, and healthy lifestyles in achieving academic excellence.

Ntota Secondary School has made remarkable strides, improving its National Senior Certificate (NSC) matric pass rate from 51% in 2024 to an impressive 71% in 2025.

MEC Mashego praised the school community for this achievement and encouraged them to strive for even greater results.

She was joined by Elias Motsoaledi Municipality Speaker, Cllr Junior Thethe, councillors, and community members, who pledged continued support to strengthen education and learner performance.
