Limpopo - Health MEC Dieketseng Mashego has lauded the selfless efforts of specialists working under the Rural Health Matters Outreach Project, visiting Mokopane and Voortrekker Hospitals to express her gratitude and encouragement.

"I commend the team for bringing hope and healing closer to our rural communities," MEC Mashego said. "You cannot serve them if you do not love them." Her visit highlighted the department's commitment to supporting healthcare workers who are making a tangible difference in underserved areas.

The Rural Health Matters Outreach Project has already benefited 296 patients across various departments, including Orthopaedics, Maxilofacial, Urogaenaecology, and more.
