Limpopo MEC for Public Works, Roads and Infrastructure Ernest Rachoene is a perfect embodiment of the African National Congress's (ANC) values of dedication and service to the people.
As a deployee of the ANC in government, Rachoene has consistently demonstrated his commitment to taking his mandate seriously, working tirelessly to address the needs of the communities he serves.
Recently, Rachoene embarked on an oversight visit to Road D2656 in Marowe, Molemole Local Municipal area, Capricorn District, accompanied by the Limpopo Legislature's Petitions Committee and Molemole Local Municipality Mayor Councillor Edward Paya. The visit aimed to assess the state of the road and address community concerns raised through petitions submitted to the Legislature.
Rachoene's leadership style is characterized by a deep understanding of the needs of his community and a commitment to delivering tangible results. In a further demonstration of his commitment to accountability and community engagement, Rachoene reported back to Councillors from the Mopani District Municipal area at a community hall in Kgapane.
The meeting, attended by the Provincial Secretary Vha-Musanda Reuben Madadzhe, Regional Chairperson Pule Shai, Regional Secretary Sonia Ngobeni-Maswanganyi, and the entire Regional Executive Committee (REC), provided a platform for Rachoene to share updates on the progress of projects and initiatives in the region.
The community and ANC officials have praised Rachoene's leadership, with many describing him as a consummate leader who takes his job very seriously. "Tony is doing a great job. He's equal to the task. He's delivering," said one community member. "He takes his job very seriously and listens to elders. Even young politicians are looking up to him as a role model because he's a perfect example of a leader who is dedicated to serving the people."
Traditional leaders in Limpopo have also expressed their admiration for Rachoene, praising his respect and kind heart. "He's a very good young man who respects elders, culture, values, norms, and beliefs," said one traditional leader. "He's going very far with his positive attitude, humility, and all those good qualities. We have met him and he always greets us with respect. He's a leader who understands the importance of tradition and culture."
