The Free State Province is set to witness a groundbreaking economic transformation on Thursday, 26 March 2026, led by the inspiring Minister Stella Tembisa Ndabeni.

The Minister will spearhead the Economic Transformation Strategic Interface & Right to Trade Dialogue, an event designed to ignite the spirit of entrepreneurship and drive inclusive growth.

Minister Ndabeni’s flagship program, the Lejweleputswa District Economic Transformation Strategic Interface, will bring together government officials, district leaders, and local entrepreneurs to assess challenges and unlock new opportunities for MSMEs and Cooperatives.

A highlight of the morning session (10:00 – 12:00) at Iphateng High School, Wesselsbron, will be the handover of essential tools and machinery to 165 informal traders from Nala and Matjhabeng Local Municipalities, empowering them to thrive in the local economy.

In the afternoon, the Mangaung Right to Trade Dialogue (16:00 – 20:00) at the President Hotel, Bloemfontein, will celebrate the constitutional right to trade, placing MSMEs at the heart of Human Rights Month.

Minister Ndabeni will showcase stories of resilience and success from South African entrepreneurs, emphasizing her commitment to building an inclusive economy and championing human dignity.
