Limpopo MEC for Public Works, Roads and Infrastructure, Tonny Rachoene, has vowed to leave no stone unturned in ensuring that the province's infrastructure development projects are completed on time and to the highest standards. This commitment comes after Limpopo Premier Phophi Ramathuba called for competence and accountability from all parties involved in the province's infrastructure development projects.
During an oversight visit to the Sekgosese area, Premier Ramathuba expressed concern over the delays in the completion of critical road and bridge projects along the D15, D3150, and D3232. She directed the Department of Public Works, Roads and Infrastructure and the Road Agency Limpopo (RAL) to urgently prioritize the completion of these projects. "We cannot afford to have our roads in a state of disrepair," she said. "We need to ensure that our roads are safe and accessible to all, and that our communities can move around easily."
MEC Rachoene has taken the Premier's call to action to heart, vowing to ensure that all parties involved in the province's infrastructure development projects are held accountable for their work. "We will not tolerate laziness or incompetence from contractors who fail to execute their duties," he said. "We will work tirelessly to ensure that our infrastructure development projects are completed on time and to the highest standards."
During the oversight visit, Premier Ramathuba engaged directly with stakeholders, reaffirming the provincial government's commitment to improving road infrastructure and ensuring timely service delivery for the benefit of local communities. "We are committed to making a difference in the lives of our people," she said. "We will work with all stakeholders to ensure that our infrastructure development projects are completed on time and to the highest standards."
The provincial government's commitment to quality infrastructure development is clear. By prioritizing the completion of critical road and bridge projects, the government is demonstrating its commitment to improving the lives of local communities. "We are committed to providing quality infrastructure that meets the needs of our communities," MEC Rachoene said.
In conclusion, MEC Rachoene's commitment to ensuring that the province's infrastructure development projects are completed on time and to the highest standards is a welcome development. With the Premier's call for competence and accountability, the province is poised to make significant strides in improving its infrastructure and promoting economic growth.
