Tonny "Dikgerekgere" Rachoene is the new Provincial Spokesperson for the ANC in Limpopo, following his election as a Head of Communication in PEC.

This appointment marks the beginning of a new chapter where a good man, once met with resistance, is now elevated by the will of God, proving that you can't keep a good man down.

As a former Provincial Chairperson of the ANC Youth League (ANCYL), Rachoene honed his leadership skills, connecting with the grassroots and driving meaningful change.

Premier Dr Phophi Ramathuba, recently elected as ANC Provincial Chairperson, believed in Rachoene's abilities against all odds, and forces of doom and gloom are now eating a humble pie. She appointed Rachoene as the MEC of the biggest department in her cabinet, and he delivered with excellence.

As MEC for Public Works, Roads and Infrastructure, he secured a clean audit opinion for 2025/26, showcasing his commitment to transparency and accountability. Remarkably, he achieved an unqualified audit in just 12 months, a feat that underscores his ability to deliver results and improved financial management and governance in the department.

MEC Rachoene's nickname "Dikgerekgere" reflects his tireless work ethic and relentless pursuit of excellence. Elected as a PEC Member of ANC Limpopo, he continues to inspire with his vision and leadership.

The ANC presidency has recognized his outstanding contributions, affirming the trust placed in his leadership abilities. His colleagues and constituents alike praise his passion for transforming the province and his dedication to serving the people.

Previously, certain forces did not see fit to co-opt him into the PEC, but when God speaks and decides to elevate a man, nobody can stop him.
