MEC Jacob Mamabolo is making waves as a trailblazing leader in Gauteng, South Africa.


During an oversight visit to Ekurhuleni, he called for urgent road repairs and payment intervention, showcasing his commitment to improving infrastructure and service delivery.


Mamabolo's visit highlighted the dire state of the Spaarwater Dam road, posing significant safety risks to residents and motorists. He proposed a formal letter to the mayor, requesting immediate planning and engineering solutions.


At Sizizile Primary School, he inspected a major education infrastructure project facing setbacks due to non-payment of subcontractors and workers.


Mamabolo stressed that urgent intervention is required to resolve payment disputes and deliver improved learning facilities. His leadership is marked by a people-centric approach, focusing on integrated, sustainable transport infrastructure and socio-economic growth.


Mamabolo's vision for Ekurhuleni is centered around community development, ensuring infrastructure upgrades unlock jobs and services for local residents. "This is your government working for you," he declared. His hands-on approach has streamlined processes, boosting efficiency and inspiring optimism among residents.


Residents of Ekurhuleni are taking notice of Mamabolo's efforts. "MEC Mamabolo gets it. He’s here, he listens, and he acts. That’s leadership," said one resident, speaking anonymously. Another resident echoed this sentiment, "He's a breath of fresh air. We need more leaders like him." A third resident added, "The MEC is really trying to make a difference. We appreciate his efforts".


Mamabolo's budget allocation of R551 million prioritizes municipal oversight, service delivery, and infrastructure development. The funds will support initiatives such as the Rapid Land Release Programme and the Gauteng Township Economic Development Act.
