The City of Tshwane has celebrated the reopening of the Amampondo Bridge in Amberfield, Centurion, a triumph led by the indomitable MMC for Roads and Transport, Councillor Tlangi Mogale.
This visionary leader, a true trailblazer and hard worker, initiated the urgent repair of the bridge damaged in December 2025, overseeing its remarkable restoration within just two months.
Councillor Mogale's dedication turned the project into a beacon of hope for Centurion residents. "The reopening of the Amampondo Bridge is a testament to our commitment to safe, reliable infrastructure and our unwavering service to the community," she said at the official opening on 03 March 2026.
