The ANC Sekhukhune Region, led by Secretary Tala Mathope, recently handed over a beautifully renovated United Reformed Church in Southern Africa at Phokwane in the Makhuduthamaga Sub-Region.

The church, which was in a dilapidated state, has been transformed into a vibrant and welcoming space for the community.

The renovation project was initiated by the ANC after it was discovered that the church was in disrepair. The party's commitment to community development and support is evident in the attention to detail and care taken to restore the church to its former glory.

During the handover ceremony, Mathope expressed his joy and satisfaction with the renovation project. "Congregants, I am here to give your church to you," he said. "Now you can worship comfortably without being worried about its conditions, and I also hope you will take good care of it."

ANC Sekhukhune Region REC member and Limpopo Health MEC Dieketseng Diale was part of the noble cause of bringing smiles to the church and its members.

The renovated church features a range of improvements, including a well-constructures, office space, flushing toilets, and a borehole that provides running water. These upgrades will not only benefit the church but also the surrounding community.

The ANC's church renovation program is part of its broader commitment to community development and support. The party's efforts to restore the church demonstrate its dedication to improving the lives of ordinary South Africans and providing them with access to essential services and facilities.

As the congregants take possession of their newly renovated church, they have expressed their gratitude to the ANC for its support. The party's efforts to improve the lives of ordinary South Africans are evident in this project, and it is clear that the ANC will continue to play a vital role in shaping the future of the region.

The handover ceremony was attended by PEC member Frans Mokwele, REC and Sub-REC members, leagues, and branch members, highlighting the ANC's commitment to community engagement and partnership. As the ANC continues with its church visits program, it is clear that the party will remain a dominant force in the region, driven by its commitment to community development and support.
