MEC for Public Works, Roads and Infrastructure, Ernest Rachoene, recently appeared before a joint committee of the Oversight Mechanism Committee and the Portfolio Committee on Public Works, Roads and Infrastructure in Lebowakgomo. During the meeting, he led a team in providing a comprehensive update on the department's progress.

MEC Rachoene highlighted the noticeable improvements made at the Lebowakgomo Legislature and the Parliamentary Village. The Honourable members of the two oversight committees commended the department on these improvements, acknowledging the hard work and dedication that went into the projects.

The department has embarked on a massive project to refurbish, upgrade security, and deal with land scaling to ensure that prestige facilities, including the Premier's Guest House, meet National Key Point standards. This project demonstrates the department's commitment to providing world-class infrastructure that meets the needs of the province.

What's notable about this project is that it's being implemented through the internal capacity of the department. This approach showcases the department's ability to deliver projects efficiently and effectively, without relying on external resources.

This proactive approach demonstrates MEC Rachoene's commitment to accelerating service delivery in Limpopo. By prioritizing infrastructure development and strengthening internal capacity, he is working tirelessly to improve the lives of Limpopo residents.

With MEC Rachoene at the helm, Limpopo's infrastructure development is poised to take significant strides forward. As the province continues to grow and develop, the future looks bright for its residents.
