The ANC Sekhukhune Region has unveiled its newly elected Regional Executive Committee (REC) members to the general membership of the entire 117 branches.
The introduction and presentation of the REC collective was done by Provincial Secretary Cde VhaMusanda Madadze, who expressed appreciation for the leadership that inspires hope and is willing to account to its membership.
The Provincial Secretary emphasized the importance of unity among members and structures of the movement. He also highlighted the need to create job opportunities for the people and attract investors to the region. "We must unite our members and structures of the movement, create job opportunities for our people and put efforts to attract investors to the region," Madadze said.
The ANC Sekhukhune Region leadership, led by Secretary Tala Mathope, has been instrumental in initiating programs that aim to assess councillors and address service delivery issues. The "Taking a Councillor to the People" program is one such initiative that has been well-received by the communities. The leadership team, which includes Chairperson Minah Bahula, Deputy Chairperson David Tladi, Secretary Tala Mathope, Deputy Secretary Eddie Maila, and Treasurer Given Moimana, is committed to unity and discipline in changing the lives of the communities in Sekhukhune Region and Limpopo.
The REC members, consisting of 20 dedicated individuals, were introduced and presented to the general membership. They include Mphelane Judy, Vincent Shoba, Kgwediebotse Chego, Aaron Machipa, Mmakoma Motsepe, Mametsa Maphoko, Alfred Phatlane, Rebecca Lentsoane, Malebo Phala, Maria Mashego, Sam Uwane, Samaria Mashilo, Vero Matlala, Rose Ratau, Dieketseng Mashego, Dorah Mphethi, Thabitha Selala, Asnath Matsomane, Halinda Mojalefa, and Itumeleng Magane.
