Polokwane, Limpopo - In a significant boost to the District Development Model, the spirit of service delivery has been taken to new heights as key stakeholders converged to discuss the future of roads infrastructure in the region.


The meeting, which brought together Polokwane Municipality Executive Mayor Cllr Makoro John Mpe, ANC Peter Mokaba Region Chairperson, and Limpopo MEC for Public Works, Roads and Infrastructure Tonny Rachoene, marked a turning point in the implementation of the 7th Administration's decision to address challenges in road infrastructure.


The gathering, which focused on key service delivery issues pertaining to roads infrastructure provision, demonstrated the commitment of the stakeholders to taking the District Development Model to the next level. Central to the discussion was the devolution of district roads, a critical aspect of the 7th Administration's plan to improve service delivery.


Executive Mayor Cllr Makoro John Mpe, who is also the ANC Peter Mokaba Region Chairperson, played a pivotal role in driving the discussion forward.
