ANCYL provincial chairperson Tonny Rachoene has expressed gratitude to all volunteers who worked determinedly to safeguard that voter registrations campaigns gave birth to triumph ahead of the general elections.
He said however that the ANCYL volunteers must continue to campaign for the ANC to ensure that the ANC emerges triumphant. With the IEC confirming that over 27 million people have registered to vote for the general election, Rachoene said the ANC will win the elections because the volunteers are working unstintingly.
“The ANCYL will leave no stone unturned to ensure that the ANC remains in power. We will continue to encourage young people that it is potent and imperative to have a voice by voting. They must rally behind the ANC for it is the only party that has thrived to emancipate the public from all forms of depression. The ANC is the ruling party that has the best interest of the masses of our country. It is also a party that accepts its mistakes and rejuvenates itself with its collective leadership,” said Rachoene.
