The much-anticipated launch of the “Arrive Alive” festive-season road-safety campaign in Limpopo will finally get its big moment tomorrow — and Limpopo Health MEC Dieketseng Mashego is set to deliver the keynote address that’s got everyone talking.
According to the official programme, Mashego — who has been actively rolling out the campaign since early December — will speak at 08:00 on 23 December 2025 at the Kranskop Toll Gate in Modimolle. She’s been front-and-centre of the provincial push to reduce road fatalities, urging drivers to “arrive alive” amid the holiday rush.
While she hasn’t spoken publicly today — the poster clearly states “she will speak tomorrow” — her previous engagements have already set the tone: zero tolerance for drunk driving, overloaded vehicles, and reckless speeding. In her last public remarks, she warned: “We cannot afford to lose even one life to preventable accidents during this time of celebration.”
Tomorrow’s event promises a full slate — including road-safety demonstrations, and a mass distribution of safety pamphlets — all under Mashego’s leadership. Expect her speech to hammer home the “It Starts With Me” theme, calling on every citizen to take personal responsibility for safer roads.
So keep an eye out — tomorrow at Kranskop Toll Gate, the MEC herself will finally take the mic and lay out her vision for a fatality-free festive season.
Stay tuned — this story’s just getting heated. #ArriveAlive #LimpopoRoadSafety #MphoDubeReports
