Truth. Fearless. Unfiltered.
As the Limpopo Provincial Government prepares to deliver its State of the Province Address (SOPA) on Thursday, the Bolsheviks Party of South Africa is sounding the alarm bells, accusing the government of neglecting the people's basic needs and demanding radical accountability.
In a scathing statement, the party's General Secretary, Seun Mogotji, lambasted the government for its failure to maintain infrastructure, citing the crumbling R25 road and Philadelphia Hospital as examples of "political neglect" and "institutional decay".
"The collapse of the R25 road is not a natural disaster, it's a symbol of a government that announces budgets but fails to deliver," Mogotji said. "Every pothole on that road is a symbol of broken accountability, and every damaged vehicle and delayed ambulance is the price our people pay for administrative complacency."
The party is demanding a province-wide independent audit of all hospital infrastructure, emergency funding for rehabilitation, full public disclosure of road maintenance budgets and contractors, and consequence management for officials responsible for the decline.
Mogotji emphasized that the people of Limpopo are not just statistics in a speech, but citizens with constitutional rights, and that healthcare and safe roads are not optional, but essential services that must be delivered.
The Bolsheviks Party has vowed to mobilize communities and demand change if the government fails to act, warning that the era of silence and patience is over.
As the SOPA approaches, all eyes will be on the Premier's address, with many expecting a make-or-break moment for the province's leadership. Will the government acknowledge the crisis and commit to radical change, or will it resort to empty promises and rhetoric? The people of Limpopo are watching, and they're not going to take it anymore.
