Ga-Nkwana — ANC Secretary General Cde Fikile Mbalula received a warm, royal welcome during a packed community meeting today at the Moses Mabotha Civic Centre in Ga-Nkwana, Fetakgomo Tubatse Sub-Region, in a show of force ahead of the Local Government Elections.
The meeting, supported by the Limpopo PEC led by Provincial Secretary Cde Reuben Madadzhe, the Leagues, Alliance Partners and ANC volunteers, turned into a celebration of ANC strength on the ground.
In a powerful address from the podium, the Secretary General commended the dedication and resilience of Sekhukhune volunteers, praising their tireless work throughout the election campaign. He said their discipline and loyalty will lead the ANC to a decisive victory in the upcoming local government elections.
Mbalula further charged councillor candidates to remain selfless and to put the community first once elected, reminding them that the ANC lives through service to the people.
In a touching gesture of honour for his visit to the "Royal Region", Regional Chairperson Cde Minah Bahula and Secretary Cde Tala Mathope presented the SG with a traditionally crafted half-blazer made of animal skin and a matching hat and staff — symbolising the unique character of Sekhukhune, a region distinguished by the leadership of Kings, Queens and Chiefs, where traditional norms and practices are still upheld and respected.
The SG proudly wore the regalia, holding the traditional staff high as the hall erupted — a powerful image of the ANC embracing both tradition and modern leadership.
The ANC continues to engage communities to maintain the unbreakable bond it has with our people on the ground.
ANC LIVES... ANC LEADS!
