Limpopo's MEC for Health, Ms Mashego Dieketseng, yesterday visited the EMS team at the flood site, standing in solidarity with the brave rescue teams searching for missing persons swept away by the flooded bridge in the early hours of the morning.


The scene was one of chaos and devastation, with emergency responders working tirelessly to locate those in distress.


"I want to commend and appreciate the rescue team for their hard work and risking their lives to save lives tirelessly. May our God bless you," MEC Dieketseng said, visibly moved by the team's dedication.


Her visit was a testament to the 7th Administration's commitment to supporting frontline heroes in times of crisis.


The MEC's visit to the flood site was a powerful show of support for the EMS team, who have been working around the clock to rescue those affected by the floods. "We are proud of our team," said EMS spokesperson, adding that the MEC's visit had boosted team morale.


As the province grapples with the aftermath of the floods, MEC Dieketseng assured Limpopo residents that the government is doing everything possible to support those affected. "We will leave no one behind," she emphasized.


The floods have caused widespread damage, with several roads closed and homes destroyed. The EMS team has been working tirelessly to rescue stranded residents and provide medical aid to those in need.


In a statement, the MEC urged residents to exercise caution and follow safety guidelines. "We must work together to mitigate the impact of these floods," she said.


The Azanian witnessed the MEC's visit to the flood site, where she was briefed by EMS officials on the rescue efforts. The MEC also took the opportunity to interact with the rescue teams, thanking them for their selfless service.
