It's a hands-on approach that brings leadership, resources, and action directly to communities, ensuring that gravel roads are restored to a condition that supports safe and reliable mobility. By prioritizing road maintenance, the department aims to improve access for residents, support local economic activity, and enhance service delivery in the surrounding areas.

The programme was attended by key stakeholders, including the Mayor of Makhado Local Municipality, Cllr Dorcus Mboyi, and the local Traditional Authority. Their presence underscored the importance of working collaboratively to deliver meaningful change in communities.

Members of the Limpopo Provincial Legislature's Committee on Public Participation and Petitions, along with Portfolio Committee members, also attended to exercise oversight on road infrastructure projects, demonstrating a collective commitment to transparency, accountability, and inclusive governance.
