Ephraim Mogale Local Municipality has received an unqualified audit opinion for the 2024/2025 financial year from the Auditor General of South Africa, Ms.
Tsakani Maluleke, a testament to the sterling leadership and financial sound discipline of Mayor Cllr Given Moimana and his administration.
The unqualified audit opinion is a significant achievement, reflecting the municipality's commitment to transparency, accountability, and good governance. Mayor Moimana has led from the front, driving initiatives to improve financial management, service delivery, and community engagement.
"We are thrilled to receive this unqualified audit opinion, which is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our administration," said Mayor Moimana. "I thank our team for their tireless efforts to ensure that we deliver quality services to our communities while maintaining the highest standards of financial management."
The Auditor General's report praised the municipality's efforts to strengthen internal controls, improve financial reporting, and enhance compliance with laws and regulations.
