Orlando Pirates superstar Patrick "Tito" Maswanganyi, DStv Premiership Players’ Player of the Season, DStv Premiership Midfielder of the Season and Nedbank Cup Player of the Tournament.
Orlando Pirates midfielder Patrick “Tito” Maswanganyi won four 2023/2024 three PSL awards following his superb dazzling skills which mesmerised soccer fans across mzansi as well as international which caught the attention of Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos who recently named him in his World Cup qualifier squad.
Maswanganyi scooped the DStv Premiership Players’ Player of the Season (bagged prize money worth R200 000), DStv Premiership Midfielder of the Season (pocketing another R50 000) and Nedbank Cup Player of the Tournament(R150 000 in prize money) awards for his marvellous performance.
Mamelodi Sundowns goalkeeper Ronwen Williams received PSL Footballer of the Season award as well as the DStv Premiership Goalkeeper of the Season award.
Talented superstar Relebohile Mofokeng of Orlando Pirates earned Premiership Young Player of the Season and the Nedbank Cup Most Promising Player of the Tournament awards.
Mamelodi Sundowns defender Grant Kekana won Defender of the Season award while his coach Rulani Mokwena won Coach of the year award. Tshegofatso Mabasa and Thabiso Lebitso of Orlando Pirates got the DStv Premiership Top Goal Scorer and Goal of the Season awards.
Orlando Pirates goalkeeper Sipho Chaine received the MTN8 Last Man Standing award. Mamelodi Sundowns were the team of the season after winning the league for the seventh time in a row.
Stellenbosch FC star Devin Titus won the Carling Knockout Player of the Tournament award.
