PSL Awards:Pirates Shine in Star-Studded Ceremony while Sundowns Lucas Ribeiro Costa gets 3 top awards

The 2024/25 Premier Soccer League (PSL) awards ceremony was a night to remember, with Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates dominating the spotlight. The ceremony, held on July 29, 2025, recognized the outstanding performances of players, coaches, and teams in South African football.

Mamelodi Sundowns was the team to beat, taking home several top awards. Lucas Ribeiro Costa was named PSL Footballer of the Season, DStv Premiership Player’s Player of the Season, and Golden Boot winner.
