The Limpopo Public Works, Roads and Infrastructure MEC, Tonny Rachoene, has launched a major initiative to upgrade the roads in the province in a bid to boost infrastructure development and improve the lives of residents.
The #DikgerekgereWednesdays service delivery initiative is gaining momentum, with the department working tirelessly to make the unpaved roads network drivable.
The D1031, Roouberg Road in the Thabazimbi Municipality, is one of the key areas being targeted for upgrade. The internal teams are working around the clock to ensure that the roads are transformed, making it easier for residents to commute and for goods to be transported.
The initiative is part of the broader #OperationTsogaMoshomi and #ServiceExcellence drive, aimed at strengthening internal capacity and promoting service delivery. With the 7th Administration's commitment to leaving no one behind, the department is working to ensure that all residents have access to quality infrastructure.
As the #DikgerekgereWednesdays initiative gains traction, residents are beginning to see the fruits of the department's labor. The upgraded roads will not only improve transportation but also boost economic growth and development in the region.
