The media fraternity is in shock after the untimely passing of Tshidi Madia, Associate Editor: Politics at Eyewitness News (EWN), who left an indelible mark on South African journalism. Madia's dedication to her craft and her fearless approach to reporting earned her widespread respect across the political spectrum.
Madia's journey in journalism began humbly as an assistant at EWN's traffic desk, but her tenacity and talent soon propelled her to greater heights. She worked as a reporter and presenter at Power FM and later joined News24, where she established herself as a formidable voice in political reporting.
Her return to EWN as a senior political reporter and subsequent promotion to Associate Editor: Politics cemented her position as a leading figure in South African journalism.
