Mamelodi Sundowns has etched its name in the annals of South African football history by clinching a record-extending eighth successive Betway Premiership title. The Brazilians sealed their championship triumph with a convincing 3-0 victory over Chippa United on Wednesday night.

Sales made a significant impact, scoring his seventh league goal on 69 minutes when his cross caught out Johnson and sailed into the far corner. Sales sealed the win with a minute left on the clock, calmly slotting home after Johnson gave the ball away.
