UNITING FOR PROGRESS: LIMPOPO MEC RACHOENE AND SANDF FORGE PATH TO INFRASTRUCTURE DEVELOPMENT

In a significant step towards fostering collaboration and driving progress in Limpopo, MEC for Public Works, Roads and Infrastructure, Ernest Rachoene, recently hosted a meet and greet session with the Provincial Commander of the South African National Defence Force (SANDF) at the department's headquarters in Polokwane.


The meeting, part of the department's #StakeholdersTuesdays engagement session, aimed to strengthen the already sound working relations between the department and the SANDF.


Led by Colonel Erick Mbhazima Baloi, the SANDF team brought a wealth of experience and expertise to the table. Together, MEC Rachoene and Colonel Baloi explored ways to enhance their partnership, focusing on the critical area of roads infrastructure provision.


The department's flagship Weliszwe Bridges programme was highlighted as a key area of cooperation, with the SANDF's support playing a vital role in ensuring the project's success.
