The Mayor of Fetakgomo Tubatse Local Municipality Cllr Eddie Maila has joined the Limpopo delegation in Macau, China, for the 16th International Infrastructure Investment and Construction Forum Exhibition.


The delegation, led by Limpopo Premier Dr Phophi Ramathuba, aims to secure investments and partnerships for Limpopo's growth, focusing on key sectors such as mining, agriculture, manufacturing, and tourism.


The delegation's visit is a significant step in attracting investments and partnerships that will drive economic growth and development in the province. Limpopo Premier Dr Phophi Ramathuba, accompanied by MEC for Limpopo Economic Development, Environment & Tourism MEC Tshitereke Matibe, MEC for Public Works, Roads, and Infrastructure Tonny Rachoene, Fetakgomo-Tubatse Local Municipality Mayor Cllr Eddie Maila, Rathumbu, and Joseph Phukhuntsi, arrived at a side meeting hosted by the Chinese delegation led by Li Yongming, a member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy General Manager of China State Construction Group.


As Mayor of Fetakgomo Tubatse, Cllr Maila has been instrumental in driving projects that improve the quality of life for residents. One of his notable achievements is the electrification project at Mashung section, Ward 36, which will benefit 800 households upon completion. This project is a testament to Mayor Maila's dedication to addressing the needs of his community.
