Limpopo - In a major boost to service delivery, the Department of Public Works, Roads and Infrastructure has unveiled 105 new vehicles, marking a significant milestone in the province's efforts to strengthen internal capacity and accelerate development.
The fleet, which includes graders, dozers, front-end loaders, and other essential equipment, will support officials across the province, including 590 new recruits appointed since the start of the 7th Administration.
Addressing the gathering, Premier Dr Phophi Ramathuba emphasized the importance of turning these new assets into tangible results. "A fleet only becomes meaningful when it turns into action," she said. "Once these vehicles leave here today, their impact must be felt immediately. Roads that have long deteriorated must begin to show progress."
The new fleet is expected to significantly enhance operational efficiency and accelerate service delivery in Limpopo, with MEC Ernest Rachoene expressing confidence that the assets will go a long way in capacitating cost centers and ensuring improved service delivery.
The unveiling is part of the ANC's Seventh Administration's commitment to strengthening internal capacity and growing the province. The event was hailed as a significant step towards realizing the administration's vision for a better life for all Limpopo residents.
As the province gears up for the festive season, the Department of Public Works, Roads and Infrastructure is poised to make a meaningful impact, with the new fleet set to drive progress and development in the region.
The Azanian salutes the Limpopo government for this significant investment in service delivery and looks forward to seeing the positive impact it will have on the lives of ordinary citizens.
