The Limpopo Department of Public Works, Roads and Infrastructure, led by MEC Tonny Rachoene, is making significant strides in improving the lives of rural communities.

The department is currently carrying out Dig and Haul activities along the D4200 road in the Sekhukhune District, under the Fetakgomo Tubatse Local Municipality.

The Regravelling Team is working tirelessly to improve the section that connects Ga-Matlala, Ga-Mashabela, Thabanaseshu, and Mphanama Villages. This vital road links communities to essential services and key destinations, including:

- Jacob Marwale Primary School

- Ngwanamala Secondary School

- Nchabeleng Health Centre

- Sekhukhune College (Apel Campus)

- Local guesthouses

- Apel Mall

- Fetakgomo Testing Centre

The road carries medium traffic volumes, including light vehicles, taxis, trucks, ambulances, and buses. The ongoing maintenance activities are part of the department's commitment to improving access roads and enhancing mobility across rural communities.

MEC Rachoene's leadership has been instrumental in driving this initiative forward. The department's efforts are aimed at creating a better life for all Limpopo residents, and the road maintenance project is a significant step towards achieving this goal.

The project is expected to have a positive impact on the local economy and improve the quality of life for residents. With the department's commitment to strengthening internal capacity and growing the economy, the future looks bright for Limpopo.

As the department continues to work towards improving the lives of Limpopo residents, the community is eager to see the completion of this project. With MEC Rachoene's vision and leadership, the people of Limpopo can look forward to a brighter future.
